it should be near the gas tank above the fram rail
behind the fuel tank you will see a clamp this is where the filter goes at least it is there on my 1989b2200
It's in the gas tank, u have to drop the gas tank to remove it. Kinda time consuming!!!
Is it a V6, if it is then the fuel pump is located inside the gas tank. You have to drop the gas tank down and remove it from the tank itself.

Check on the passenger side, near the firewall. In my 91 B2200 it is a plastic inline filter, held in by two hose clamps. Takes about 90 seconds to replace. There is also one at the inlet of the gas tank.
If it is a factory fuel injected the fuel pump is in the gas tank, if it is a factory carburated the machanical fuel pump is at passenger side rear of the engine head.
check your presure regulator or there is a kink in your return line
The fuel pump is located in the gas tank. U have to drop the gas tank to remove it. There should be 3 braces that hold the gas tank up. Remove the hoses and breath hosearound the tank and the electrical connector to drop the tank down. Time consuming job!!!
