In theory there would be if the core temp. is over the melting point for silica, this would create Magma core and plate tectonics movement on the crust.

From Photos of surface it show bucklering of crust and seductions zones.

Of course! A metamorphic rock can be found anywhere with adequate pressure and heat. Metamorphic rocks could even be found on the moon, created by the impact of larger objects striking the moon.
