Lucie Manette and Mr. Charles Darnay visited Jarvis Lorry in his Paris apartment. They came to seek his help and advice during a tumultuous time in the city.
The two people who attended Lucie Manette's wedding as described in "A Tale of Two Cities" other than her father and the groom were Mr. Lorry and Sydney Carton.
Jarvis Lorry in "A Tale of Two Cities" wants to protect and serve the Manette family, particularly Lucie Manette. He is loyal to their welfare and wishes to support and safeguard them throughout the story.
Jarvis Lorry took the Defarges to meet with Dr. Manette, who had been unjustly imprisoned in the Bastille for many years. Dr. Manette had previously been the servant of the Evremonde family, with whom the Defarges had connections.
In Charles Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities," Jarvis Lorry receives a message from Dr. Manette that prompts him to travel to Paris. The message indicates that Dr. Manette has been released from imprisonment and is in need of assistance. Lorry's role as a banker and friend to the Manette family drives him to ensure Dr. Manette's safety and to reunite him with his daughter, Lucie. This sets the stage for the unfolding drama of the novel.
Jarvis Lorry initially views Sydney Carton as a dissolute and wasted individual. However, he later comes to admire Carton's sacrifice and devotion to Lucie Manette, seeing him in a more positive light.

Jarvis Lorry and Miss Pross remained in Soho to look after Dr. Manette's home and belongings. They continued to maintain the residence while eagerly awaiting news of Lucie and her new family's well-being.
Mr. Jarvis Lorry was still working for Tellson's bank twenty years prior.. and he was an executor at the bank where all of Dr. Manette's affairs were handled. When he "died", and his wife 2 years after, it was Mr Lorry who was in charge of everything. Including his daughter. Because the Manette's were clients, and only "buisness" he was the one who took Lucy, as a child, to EEngland where she was an orphan.
He was a banker at Telleson's Bank. He also helped Lucie Manette find her father who was in hiding at the Defarge's wine shop, after being released from prison.
