If you are dying bulbs that are 40 watts (or less) you can use a product called COLORINE. It is the same type of bulb dye that is used for Christmas lights (incandescent, not LED) and comes in several colors. It is manufactured by Rosco who make Gels and hundreds of other lighting products for stage and movies. These colors can be mixed to create any color you can imagine. They can also be thinned out by using "Clear" base which will give you a lighter color. This product should be readily available at any theatrical supply store.
