You may want to check the integration board located on the back side of fuse box,When this goes bad do to some kind of short the dash and dome lights will go out ,but gauges continue to work.Had this problem on a 91 Toyota and trouble shooting it drove me nuts for about 4 day,s before I traced it back to this snap in box on lower back side of fuse box......WORTH A TRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
