To install an electric fuel pump on a 2003 Ford E150 Econoline, first, disconnect the battery and relieve the fuel system pressure. Remove the fuel tank by unbolting it and disconnecting the fuel lines and electrical connectors. Once the tank is out, access the fuel pump by removing the retaining ring on the fuel sender assembly, replace the old pump with the new one, and reassemble everything in reverse order. Finally, reconnect the battery and test the system for leaks before starting the engine.
