Head Gasket to replace
To replace the valve cover gaskets on a 1998 Cadillac Catera, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Remove any necessary components obstructing access to the valve covers, such as the intake manifold or ignition components. Once the covers are exposed, unscrew and lift them off, then clean the mating surfaces thoroughly. Replace the old gaskets with new ones, reassemble the covers, and reconnect any components you removed.
