To add Transmission Fluid to a 1999 AU Falcon, locate the transmission dipstick tube, which is typically found at the back of the engine bay, near the firewall. 5w30 engine oil, Mopar ATF+4 trans fluid.
If you drain the Trans. AND Torque Converter you will need 10-12 QTS. of fluid

i had a rebuilt one put in my 1999 cougar for $1300
transmission fluid almost always goes in the dipstick tube
in the dipstick hole.

The transfer case uses ATF+4 or Dextron trans fluid.
The transmission does not take gear oil. The auto uses ATF+4 and the manual uses manual trans fluid.
