A front popping on the left of a 98 Blazer could be the brakes, steering, or wheel bearing. Check all three to find the cause.
you might want to check the brakes and roters they might be broken or warped...that would be the my first guess...then you might check the alignment
Likely a loose or broken strut or shock. Could be the same for a load leveling bar, depending on the vehicle.
Possibly a broken motor mount. If it runs good otherwise one cause can be a vacuum leak. The check engine light should be on if it is a vacuum leak.
The most common cause is failure of the Master Cylinder. Leaking wheel cylinders & calibers is another cause. Of course worn brake pads or shoes can cause defective brakes. Lastly would be a broken brake line hose.
the clutch release could have broken , the brakes could have locked, the engine could have blown, the transmission could have broken. These are mostly things that have happened to our ranger. It depends what you mean by stops
prob a broken belt in one of the front tires
The most common cause is a broken or corroded ground wire.
The year, make, model and engine would help us.
