Not usually.
You have wires going to the carb on a 72 Chevy c10?
there is no carb on that truck
Every carburetor has the ability to provide good performance. Best to pick a carb for which you can get local support if it needs repair or tuning. I like Holley, but it's because I know how to tune one. I don't know if this is the best carb. for a 350 chevy, but if it is a 4 barrel I strongly recommend an Edelbrock 600 cfm. If the 350 is really hi pro., you may want to go a little bigger. although bigger is not always better.( this is only my opinion from experence.)
the 5th character in your VIN is the key to your answer. "M" = 200ci-V6 chevy, "A" = 231ci V6 Buick, "J" = 267ci V8 Chevy, "G" = 305ci Chevy with 2 bbl carb, "H" = 305ci Chevy with 4 bbl Carb, "L" = 350ci Chevy with 4 bbl carb
It's lean. Could be something plugged in the carb.
NO.
Check on the carb.
no
If you have an edelbrock carb, remove the top of the carb, flip it over and there you have em! 2 floats! should be about 5/16 from the top of the carb i believe
This is confusing, a 1998 does not have a carb.
A four barrel carb usually adds about 20 hp.
late 1986.
