In the state of SC, most title loan companies will wait for 30 days. After the 30 day mark, your vehicle can be repossessed from your home, job, parking lot or even at a gas station while you are refueling. The repo company they use, will usually be very aggressive and have been known to make threats, which they can follow through with. Calling an officer to assist them, dragging your car away, tearing it up. Unfortunately, it is now legally theirs. They can flip it on it's side and drag it if they want to.

If you have defaulted on the loan, you must sell the vehicle, pay off the loan you have, receive a lien release on title from the loan company and sign it ovet to the buyer. This is bad situation as most people will not pay for a vehicle with out receiving the title at the time of purchase.
Maybe
They can only repossess the vehicle which was on the loan agreement. Taking any other vehicle is theft.
A cosigner or coowner cannot repossess a vehicle. That is something the leinholder does.
Why would they NOT be able to repo a car they purchased the title to? READ your contract.
Yes it's their car you signed a lease they don't need a title to repossess their car. Title or no title they look up that information and have it mark on that title that the car was repossessed
ONLY if you can find someone to buy it without a title. NO buyer, NO seller.
car is in wifes and my name, she got a title loan unknowingly from the husband. She defaulted, can they take the car from the husband?
Assuming you used the car's title to guarantee the loan - IF you fail to repay the loan, they can repossess your car ANY time they want to ! The title of the car remains the property of the loan company until you repay your debt.
Yes, your car can be repossessed if the title loan is in collections. Actually, this is one of the most common ways for a defaulted title loan to be settled.
They will not repossess a vehicle unless you have defaulted on the loan. Defaulting on the loan is being late with the payments. Call the lender and talk to them.
