Yes it does. and its not just one ER there're many,

There're two kinds of ER, namely smooth ER and Rough ER.

RER have ribosomes attached to it while SER do not. SER is more tubular than RER.

RER transport proteins made by its ribosomes to the Golgi apparatus for secretion out of the cell.

SER, on the other hand, synthesizes substances such as fats and steroids. They also convert harmful substances into harmless materials(detoxification)

Yes, the endoplasmic reticulum is found in eukaryotic cells, such as animal cells.

Also, keep in mind that there are two types of ER's: rough and smooth. Rough has ribosomes and smooth doesn't.

yes they do. Also plant cells do. The E.R has two portions, the rough E.R, which has ribosomes on it. They also have smooth E.R which synthesises lipids.

Is the endoplasmic reticulum in an animal cell?

the endoplasmic reticulum is in both plant and animal cells. there is the smooth endoplasmic reticulum (SER) and then there is the rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER)

Does an animal have a smooth endoplasmic reticulum?

Yes; Animal cells contain a smooth endoplasmic reticulum (as well as plant cells).

Transport of molecules within animal cells occurs in the what?

the Endoplasmic reticulum

Is endoplasmic reticulum found in animal cells?

Yes. Endoplasmic reticulum is found in all eukaryote cells.

What cell transports proteins?

Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum for plant cells ONLY, or the golgi apperatus for animal cells scence animal cells do NOT have a Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum only a Endoplasmic Reticulum that makes the protiens.

Both the plant cell and animal cell include smooth endoplasmic reticulum's.

Do plants have endoplasmic reticulum?

Yes they do, they can have a rough endoplasmic reticulum (RER) that has ribosomes on it. Or a soft endoplasmic reticulum (SER) with no ribosomes on it. Hope this helps!
