The idea that alcohol kills brain cells is a bit inaccurate, in the sense that alcohol affects every cell in the body. Long before it kills off "all" your brain cells, it will have done so much damage that you would die of other causes. (Which would certainly kill off the rest of your brain cells.)

One answer that you might think about: The first few beers, if they cause you to lose control and have a head-on with a semi.

Depends on the person.. length and weight usually determines how much one can take. But alcohol dries out the brain overnight, and kills some brain cells but not nearly enough to have any real effect. Except when you overdo it though, drinking till you pass out and go into coma. That certainly will have some effect for a few days. After that, its all ok.
