Generally a numb pinky, and one that may or may not include part of your ring finger and part of your palm beneath those fingers, can be traced o a pinched nerve in your elbow. When this nerve is irritated or compressed it causes your pinky and some of your ring finger to go numb, especially when your elbow is bent for a little while.

Numbness of the other fingers and/or hand can be traced to a different nerve, or perhaps carpal tunnel, but generally when it mostly is just your little finger involved it is a particular nerve pinched at your elbow

If this is the case, try to refrain from keep your elbows bent while sleeping, driving, talking on phone.... It should help relieve some of it .

Hope this helps!

How do you get white knuckle disease?

This is secondary form of Raynaud's disease, from the continuous use of vibrating hand-held machinery. You get white knuckles from the damage to the blood vessels in your hands. You can also develop numbness in your fingers (nerve damage) and loss of manual dexterity(muscle damage). This is a cumulative disease and does not happen overnight. You need to regulate your "trigger time", the amount of time you operate using handheld devices. Regardless if you use small vibrating tools for long periods of time vs heavily vibrating tools for short periods of time (like a chainsaw) you still receive the same affect. If the usage continues for months to years the damage could be permanent. Symptoms will first appear during usage then disappear over time. If you do not address the situation you could lose your fingers to amputation. The correct name for this condition is vibration white finger syndrome or VWF. Minor conditions affect the finger tips - but more severe VWF can cause the whole finger to the knuckle to turn white. It is usually caused by continuous exposure to vibrating power tools in the workplace. To see more about vibration white finger including how to recover compensation from an employer in the UK see the related link entitled "miners VWF".

Loss of feeling in left pinky finger no damage just a numb finger and sometimes pain and numbness in the arm?

Always get checked out by a doctor, no amount of online speculation should in any way substitute getting actually evaluated. From what you've said, there are a lot of things that can cause this - ranging from nerve compression and agitation, to problems with your heart. Based on your description, I would lean toward something like cubital tunnel - similar to carpal tunnel but only affecting the ulnar nerve. But as always, only a medical doctor can properly evaluate you and give you a diagnosis.
