1) Dermal tissue system which are the epidermis and the dermis of the plant.
2) Vascular tissue system which are the xylem and phloem.
3) Ground tissue system which are used for support and storage in the plants.
Plants have ONLY 3 types of tissue... Dermal, Ground, and Vascular. *Dermal: covers the outer surface of herbaceous plants & composed of epidermal cells with a waxy cuticle that helps protect it from water loss. *Ground: is the bulk of the primary plant body, commonly has parenchyma, collenchyma, and sclerenchyma cells. *Vascular: transports food, water, hormones and minerals within the plant and includes xylem, phloem, parenchyma, and cambium cells.
ground tissue (synthesizes organic compounds, supports plant, provides storage)
dermal tissue (covers and protects plant)
vascular tissue (allows water and nutrients to be transported through the plant)
Growing tissues of a plant is meristem tissue. They can be found at the tip of stem of a plant(growing plant). This is called apical meristem.
The Three Basic Cell Types in Plants are Parenchyma, Sclerenchyma, Collenchyma.
1. Parenchyma
2. Sclerenchyma
3. Collenchyma
Parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma
Vascular plants have tissues for moving water around.
Non-meristematic plant tissues are classified as either simple tissues (containing only one type of cell) or as complex tissues (containing multiple types of cells) There are three types of simple tissues: 1. Parenchyma 2. Collenchyma 3. Sclerenchyma
Tissues for moving water around
plants without specialized conducting tissues are called nonvascular plants
Xylem and phloem are two cardiovascular tissues in plants. The two tissues aid in helping the plant to absorb water and move it through their structure.Xylem and phloem are twocardiovascular tissues in plants
plants only have three kinds of tissues epidermal , vascular and ground tissues ground tissues are--parenchyma, collenchyma and sclerenchyma
plants only have three kinds of tissues epidermal vascular and ground tissues ground tissues are parenchyma ,callenchyma and , sclerrenchyma
xylem and phloem
Parenchyma, Sclenchyma, Collenchyma.
Because they Evolved and developed that way.
Because they Evolved and developed that way.
Xylem and Phloem are vascular tissues found in most plants.
3 soft tissues: *Head *Bones *Hair
grey matter, white matter and neuraglia
Non-meristematic plant tissues are classified as either simple tissues (containing only one type of cell) or as complex tissues (containing multiple types of cells) There are three types of simple tissues: 1. Parenchyma 2. Collenchyma 3. Sclerenchyma
There are three types of muscle tissue-- Smooth, skeletal and cardiac
Vascular plants have tissues for moving water around.
