The plants of the Ordivician consisted mostly of red and green algae. The first primitive land plants appeared during the Ordivician, though they did not resemble the land plants that come to mind as we think of land plants today. Primitive colonies of mosses, most likely.
Some of the dominant organisms during the ordovician period inlcude green algae, coral reefs, mollusks, land plants and jawless fish.
*By G1N4* also there were cephalopods and bronchiopods as well.
BECAUSE...Shallow seas covered most of the continents...
Most of the living organisms during the Paleozoic Era consisted of oceanic life forms.
Early in the era, most organisms were invertebrates.
These animals looked like clams. Soft-bodied animals like sponges also lived at this time. Coral was very plentiful during this time.
Well their were diffren't living things back in the ordovician period they are called Abiotic and Biotic things, below is the chart of a couple for each
Abiotic: Sea Scorpian, Trilobites, bacteria,Orginizems, Nautiloids and Millipedes
Biotic:Water, Air, Reefs, Sun and Gas
Abiotic's are living things such as animails and orginismes
Biotic are non living things that we/were needed to survive
The dominant organisms of the Devonian Period were vertebrate fish. It has often been called the Age of the Fishes.
The dominant organism during the ordovician time period is the cephalopods. answered by: Baleigh Allman :) <3
I was looking for the same question I know that one of them are lophophorates and another is graptolites. I dont know much abut them though.
Trilobites were the dominating organism.
organisms
The dominant organisms living at the Cretaceous period or time were first primates and flowering plants. This was the time when the extinction of the dinosaurs took place.
A decreasing number of organisms will be supported by the environment.
evolution
The Cambrian is a period of time which comes after the vendian millions of years before dinosaurs it was hotter than the Sahara with no plants or animals on land only in the seas.Geologists name the different periods of the earth's development. Adam Sedgwick named the period within the Paleozoic era the Cambrian period. The Cambrian period occurred millions of years ago and represents the first geological period of this era. During this time, living organisms evolved to be more complex than the formerly known single cellular types.
This describes the process of evolution. When organisms evolve, they change over time in a way adaptive to their current environment.
The dominant organisms living at the Cretaceous period or time were first primates and flowering plants. This was the time when the extinction of the dinosaurs took place.
dimetrodon was the dominANT SPECIES OF THE permian period
dinosaurs
Ordovician Period
Metazoans were abundant during the Vendian Period.
it was the Crassigyrinus it was aguatic and had sharp teeth. == ==
The dominant organisms during the carboniferous time period were plants. They were large, vascular, land plants that sometimes grew to be one hundred feet or more.
dimetrodon and edaphosaurus
vampires bears and warts
You may face troubles with the organisms, for the sea life was then dominant... but most likely it would just be the humidity of the time, and the dominant, or dangerous organisms during the time.
The Ordovician was in the Paleozoic era, and lasted from 505 to 438 million years ago. Trilobites were common then, and the earliest jawless, bony fish.
470 million years ago was in the Ordovician Period (488.3 - 443.7 Ma).Phanerozoic Eon (542 Ma - Now)Paleozoic Era (542 - 251Ma)Ordovician Period (488.3 - 443.7Ma)Middle Ordovician Epoch (471.8 - 460.9Ma)Dapingian Age (471.8 - 468.1Ma)
