The plants of the Ordivician consisted mostly of red and green algae. The first primitive land plants appeared during the Ordivician, though they did not resemble the land plants that come to mind as we think of land plants today. Primitive colonies of mosses, most likely.

Some of the dominant organisms during the ordovician period inlcude green algae, coral reefs, mollusks, land plants and jawless fish.

*By G1N4* also there were cephalopods and bronchiopods as well.

BECAUSE...Shallow seas covered most of the continents...

Most of the living organisms during the Paleozoic Era consisted of oceanic life forms.

Early in the era, most organisms were invertebrates.

These animals looked like clams. Soft-bodied animals like sponges also lived at this time. Coral was very plentiful during this time.

Well their were diffren't living things back in the ordovician period they are called Abiotic and Biotic things, below is the chart of a couple for each

Abiotic: Sea Scorpian, Trilobites,bacteria,Orginizems, Nautiloids and Millipedes

Biotic:Water, Air, Reefs, Sun and Gas


Abiotic's are living things such as animails and orginismes

Biotic are non living things that we/were needed to survive
