How do you know a parrotlet is a boy or girl?

A male parakeet has a blue/purple nose and tends to be less dominant than females. Females how ever, they tend to have a space for themselves. There nose has a light brown/ pinkish nose. They can be aggressive to other parakeets if the pair does not know one another.

it depends what kind your parrotlet is. say if he or she is green then the males will have blue around the eyes and wings. girls will have a bright green tail. American white and blue parrotlets i'm not sure.

I have a blue parakeet (a.k.a. English budgie), and it's a boy. You can tell if it's a boy if the nostrils are colored. If it's a girl, then the nostrils will be pink or gray.
