An Oxidizer
An oxidiser, or an oxidising agent. Spelled with a 'z' if you're American.
The fuel burning process results in the release of heat that is why the chamber is made of materials that can withstand high temperatures.
Spontaneous combustion occurs when materials oxidize in a manner that creates heat in the material which cannot be dissipated until the overall temperature exceeds the combustion temperature. No ecternal source (initioation) by a hot point is required.
there are a few basic tests to identify a material. hardness, color, lustor, crystal form, cleavage, and streak. I believe this is all of them, but it has been several years. They are classified by the same tests that identify them. For example, diamond is classified as a 10 hardness material (the only 10 hardness material) Glass is 7 hardness.

the material usually classified based on their properties.
Pyroclastic Material is classified by size from very fine dust and volcanic ash.
Engineering materials can be broadly classified in three categories 1.Metals 2.Ceramics 3.Polymers In advance material science books they are further classified into Composites, Biomaterials, Nanomaterials, artifically smart materials etc
There are many reasons why materials in stores are classified differently. Some people are looking for a particular weight, pattern, or consistency for example.
Yes- fire is an example of combustion- the reaction with oxygen to produce a variety of products which depend on the material being burnt- burning say coal or oil gives CO2 and CO as well as many other compounds. Yes it is. When you set something on fire, it means you are oxidizing it.
developing new materials from existing classified information marking the newly developed materials consistent with the classification markings that apply to the source information process of extracting, paraphrasing, restating, or generating in a new form, information that is already classified or The process of using existing classified information to create new documents or material and marking the new material consistent with the classification markings that apply to the source information.
A hazardous material that is a flammable solid is classified in Division 4.1
