if the dog had attacked you after a command from the controlling officer, say grabberd your arm or leg to stop you running away then yes - assaulting a police dog is the same as assaulting a police officer!
On the other hand if the dog then went wild and tried to tear you to pieces, say was trying to get at your throat then you would be able to defend yourself - but only if the dog was obviously out of control.
If a police dog just attacks you for no reason (say runs away from a plice officer at an airport and tries to savage you) then yes you could defend yourself.
Killing or harming a police dog is a crime. A police dog is considered a police officer, despite not being human. Therefore by harming a police dog you are effectively harming a police officer in the eyes of the law. Police dogs are also very expensive to train and maintain. So not only would you be harming a police asset but you would also be angering the national treasury and taxpayers for wasting their money. Kicking or punching a police dog is a crime, unless the dog attacked for no reason, then it is self defence and acceptable. Otherwise you'll be jailed for harming the police dog. Killing a police dog, unless in self defence (except where the dog was set upon you by police) will also result in jail.
It would be extremely rude to kill a cardinal because it is a famous bird, and the Cardinals mascot. You wouldn't be put in jail if you weren't caught. Although you would have a punishment for killing one if you were caught, but I can insure you that you won't be put in jail for a killing a cardinal. If you were put in jail, that would be cruel and unusual.
They would have all the people who came into jail and what crime they committed and where it happened.
They may go to jail for 30years or even suffer the death penalty
20 YEARS
yes, because their relatives should be in jail if they get out of jail by a police its a crime
It would be the result of an action. I.E. Killing someone is the action - Jail the consequence.
Get mushrooms, Tell police, Find out?
Oswald killed a police officer, was later arrested. While being moved from the city jail, he was shot and killed by Jack Ruby.
yes! dogs have personalities and they are living things....but you wouldn't get as much time in jail....say 5 2 10 years in prison
The same as for killing any human being.
Probably a slang expression that could have several meanings. For example: if a police unit is assigned to transport prisoners from the police lockup to the city or county jail, in police jargon they are said to be an a "jail run." In jail, the term could possibly refer to the exercise area or track that prisoners use during their exercise period. More context would have to be known for a more definitive answer.
