Among the animals listed, bats and badgers are known to hibernate during winter. Squirrels do not hibernate but may enter a state of torpor and stay in their nests for extended periods. Ants and snails typically enter a state of dormancy or go underground to survive colder months, while mice may also seek shelter but do not hibernate in the traditional sense.
Deer, squirrels, fox, wolf, badgers, rabbits, ducks, geese, swans, are just a few that I remember seeing while living there.

Rattlesnakes could not eat an animal as large as a badger. However, badgers will sometimes feed on rattlesnakes.
Some types of bats hibernate. Some professor used to keep bats in his refrigerator. They were alive. He'd heat them up (i.e., take them out) and study them (feed them).
