Your motherboard is running a PCI-Express x16 1.0 port (The orange one at the top), and therefore is able to grant you a few more graphics card options than even a slightly older computer could offer-- Be warned, this is still a legacy technology so your upgrade route is limited.
I don't suggest going any higher than the nVidia 560 (Or equivilent part) due to bottlenecking at the motherboard level, as well as potential power requirements that your power supply may not be able to handle. You can buy any card on the market for PCI-Express x16 and it will fit in your slot, but they will be more and more heavily gimped by the slower 1.0 bus speed as the cards get more and more powerful.
I suggest a new computer, really.
