I'm having a bit of trouble with that, so I'm going to answer WHAT is information technology? instead......

The term Information Technology was coined decades ago as a way of describing the industry that has built up around computers and electronics - everything from the massive mainframes that banks, businesses and universities have been using since the 60s to the latest, tiny microprocessors in mobile phones, PDAs and IPods, to all of the technical advancements that enable the internet to exist. They call it Information Technology because the primary purpose of computers is to move, change (`process`) and store information. IT has remained a strongly growing industry ever since the first commercial applications of computers, and it`s still "a job with a future", at least IMHO.

Information Technology is the necessity in today's Internet Marketing era, without information Technology we can't have one world, it's impossible to communicate and interact with each other without it, and without it we can't even imagine a website, and if we don't have website, you can't develop your business across the world except visit physical locations of it! There are still many more things affected lacking with information technology like social networking, chit chatting with friends from your home and so on.
