No, don't try that. It might actually make it worse. The best things for getting pepper tastes out of your mouth are things such as milk and rice. Anything with any acidity at all will simply make it worse, so try to find rather plain things to eat. I discovered that broccoli also helps a lot. Hedleygb adds: I am very sensitive to pepper, and discovered years ago that papper (chili included) is not soluble in water, but is soluble in fat. Milk, cream, yoghurt, all these will halp a lot. How about mashed potatoes?
