How did the Navajo Indians cook food?

They ate animals such as prairedogs, rabbits, deer, elk, bison, antelope. They grew corn, beans and squash. They gathered pinon nuts, yucca fruit, cactus fruit and berries and leafy greens. Later in the 1600s came watermelon, peaches, onion, and chillies. Sheep came in the 1540s. Sheep and goats arenow very central to the culture.
