If you calculate your daily energy output in calories (exercise, body heat, normal activitties like breathing, moving sitting etc.) and eat any amount of caloeirs less than this you will loose weight. This is a very individual number and cannot be generalized.

that's not how u lose weight! first of all, do not starve urself! anytime u feel hungry, eat. or ur body will think its starving si it grabs on to all your fats cells to store them! what u do need to do is speed up ur metabolism, the rate at which u can break down your food, this is achieved by doing lots of cardio, anything that gets ur heart rate up
