I've heard that they are not, Cambridge University (the oldest school in Britan) is one of these schools, are these things true?
State schools are funded by the Scottish Government, private schools are funded by fees.
Tax-payers ! The education system is funded by working people through their taxes.
Most schools were poorly funded, and many teachers lacked training.
The best place to visit would be governmental websites due to the fact that these types of schools for special needs are government funded schools for students.
Actually the government funds education beyond 16. They fund high schools, colleges, universities, and technology schools. Federally funded student loans are offered.
Most schools, unless private, are funded through state and federal educational funding.
Like Western countries, Lebanon has secular state-funded schools and it also has private religious schools funded by local religious institutions.
Japanese public education is funded by their government. There are also private educators that are funded by the tuitions of students who attend, similarly to American education.
public schools are a nice way to get your children an education with out haveing to pay a ton for the accual experience ( private schools). it may not be as good as other options but it will get you the knowledge that you need... and you can have a fun time doing it too! :P

This is the response from Charles Sturt University to this question: Charles Sturt University (CSU) is one of 38 publicly funded universities in Australia with international recognition for all its schools. CSU is fully accredited under Australian legislation and it is a member of all the relevant National and Commonwealth associations of universities. The University is registered, and may lawfully operate as a University in Australia and deliver courses of study inside and outside Australia, in accordance with Section 16-15 of the Higher Education Support Act 2003 of the Commonwealth of Australia. For further details please view www.csu.edu.au/division/vcoffice/oca/governance/registrations.htm . Checking the AU legislation website, I found it all to be true. Yes, it is accredited.
