You didn't give us much information to go on. If it's your boyfriend or spouse telling you this and you don't have a problem with alcohol then they have no business telling you to just have one drink and it's a controlling factor on their part. Don't take it! If you can't handle alcohol then I'd listen to the person telling you. There is nothing worse than a sloppy drunk (not accusing you of this.) That depends, is this person trying to help you not to drink for a specific reason, healthwise? If not and this person is trying to be controlling then dont go to their home anymore. If you were out dining with this person then they have no business telling you that. If you are in their home and they dont use alcohol, then that is there business but you also have the choice of not going there....

When someone says a taxing attitude, they are likely referring to a behavior or demeanor that is demanding, exhausting, or draining to deal with. It suggests that interacting with the person is difficult or challenging due to their negative or overbearing attitude.

Microsoft has created software that will allow people to translate what a person says into at least 26 different languages. The software is still in the research stage though and is not available on the market yet.
it means you are important to him "a great deal" is a way of saying "very much "
Just tell him about the way you feel about him and then he will soon understand and just get over about the fact that he likes you and then just sway through life.
If you had heart surgery you shouldn't drink alcohol until your surgeon says you can.
If the narrator says "I did this..." then it is 1st person If the narrator says "You did this" it is 2nd person and if the narrator says "He/She/They did this" then it is 3rd person.
