Community Colleges will admit almost anyone who can afford to pay and pass the entry exam.

If you wish to get into a more prestigious school, you should aim for at least a 3.0 GPA (B average) or higher.

Highly prestigious schools will require you to have near a 4.0 GPA or extremely good SAT / ACT scores.

i would assume that your grades have been above average from elementary school and high school. also you have to get above average scores on achievement tests . you'll have to have great college entrance exams. attendance and tardies are also looked over. your awards from your schools. sports background if you want to try to get into football,etc. now there also the chance to get into college on a year's probation to see how you do the 1st year. scholarships are out there. some are never given out. ask your advisor at school. look on th net,too. good luck! i was a teacher for 36 yrs. if you don't want to go to college, pick a trade like heat and a.c.,mechanic, etc. there's school you have to attend but just your field. oh, i forgot that your behavior was great. if it wasn't start to behave right away. all your grades etc. are passed along every year even through high school. the college looks at that also. try your best from now on-they'll see you are improving and you will be proud of yourself! get a tutor if you're need help to improve. the school probably have this after school tutoring or a friend or family member.
