Every three nitrogenous bases on DNA codes for s specific amino acid. The sequence of amino acids determines a proteins shape and function. Genetic traits are essentially the expression of proteins in the body.
DNA is the basis for our being basically. It hold our genetic code. DNA is what parent pass down to children. It determines which traits appear on and in the child. for example, the childs eye color is determined by the DNA of their parents, grandparents and great grandparents. This is because a gene can either be recessive or dominant. for example blue eyes are recessive and brown eyes are dominant. If your mother has brown eyes like everyone in her family and your father has blue eyes and everyone in his family has blue eyes (lets just say for the sake of this example), you will end up with brown eyes because brown eyes are DOMINANT, blue eyes are recessive.
DNA also determines information like if you have Allergies or not, if you are immune to certain kinds of diseases, or have certain syndromes.
thats a VERY VERY basic level of DNA. It gets more complicated but thats basically what it does overall
A gene carries information fro making all the proteins required by all organism.
Genes carry information fro making all the proteins required by all organisms.
The DNA molecule could carry a vast amount of hereditary information in its sequence of bases.

the chromosomes carry the genes
Genes carry the instructions to make proteins, i think....
DNA molecules carry out our genes.
A: first, genes had to carry information from one generation to the next; B: second, they had to put that ingormation to workby determining the heritable characteristics of organisms C: third, genes had to easily copied, because all of a cells genetic information is replicated every time a cell divides

genes
DNA has genes as a part of chromosomes which are the unit of inheritence. so genes carry all the relevent information or intruction for building.
Chromosomes carry genes. Genes are inherited material that is in chromosomes. Traits are determined by the genetic information found on chromosomes.
genes are the carriers of heredity as they carry the genetic information generation after generation without much changes in it.
the chromosomes carry the genes
What do genes do to help carry out their functions
Genes carry the instructions to make proteins, i think....
-be able to carry information from one generation to the next -to put information to work by determining the heritable characteristics of organisms -to be easily copied, because all of a cells' genetic information is replicated every times a cell divides.
Chromosomes are threadlike structures that carry the genetic information or DNA. Chromosomes are in the nucleus of a cell with the genes.
its biologically incorrect to give a number of the genes...but through a rough estimate we can say thatthere are almost 20000-25000 protein coding genes
