The 1988 Jaguar XJS-C had a starting price of approximately $40,000 when it was new. This price could vary based on options and features, but it generally positioned the XJS-C as a luxury grand tourer. The cost reflected its premium status and the brand's reputation for quality and performance.
not sure about your vehicle specifically. I have an '03 jaguar x type.. same problem with drivers door hinge. took door apart and am able to play with the handle enough to latch it back in but the rod inside that opens the door just keeps popping offagain. i think its missing a clip of some sort. any help 2 me would be appreciated Thanks
To take down the rear portion of the 1986 Jaguar XJ-SC top, first, ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the ignition is off. Release the latches on the rear deck and gently lift the top section, making sure to disconnect any retaining straps or clips. Carefully fold the top down into its storage position, ensuring not to force any parts to avoid damage. Finally, secure it in place if necessary to prevent movement while driving.
