Unless you have some new expanding oil. Something is leaking into the oil to increase the oil volume. Now the question becomes what is that something? Draining the oil would be the only way to find out. Since oil floats on water you will need a clear plastic container. If there is no water then your other option is Diesel Fuel. For this you will need to get the oil analized. An for that I would say take it back to your Vauxhall dealer and have it done at they're expense.
The other way to tell if it is Diesel Fuel is to smell the oil. Deisel Fuel has a distinct smell and you maybe able to tell if the two are mixed together. Which ever the problem is Water or Diesel Fuel it still comes down to getting your Astra down to the dealer. Hope This Helps.
