i would classify myself as a truly caring and creative individual who truly loves people. i would be an asset to any company who would employ me. i see myself as ethical, positive, sensitive, and a team player. i perhaps am to caring at times and never see nor want to see rude or insensitive behavior. i have though grown and have now see t6hat other peoples issues no longer can hurt me if i choose to see only the positive and not the negative. i would however never allow anyone in a human service position ever hurt or intentionally shame, disgrace or do anything to disgrace the company nor any and all individuals that I would come in contact with each day. each individual in our society is unique and our world would be a really better place if each person embraced this position each and every day.

Answer:

Human resources people see themselves as humane and caring but are actually in control of using human beings as a resource (like coal for a furnace) and the disposal of the unwanted bits during downturns. While they don't admit this even to themselves it does shape the needed job skills. The ones looked for by management are:

  • Meticulous in following instructions and Company Policy
  • Thickskined to resist the need to make exceptions
  • Exacting - able to read policy and apply it exactly as intended
  • Precise: able to define material to others as it was intended
  • Obedient: will follow directions for all work assigned
  • Team player
  • Observant
  • Good control of language for oral and written reports
  • Loyal
  • Somewhat cold

These will have to be presented in more saleable format.
