How do you tell a guy you like him if he doesn't like you?

Unless there is some urgent reason why he should know this (like going through some great expense), I would say let him find out himself. Sometimes the messenger gets shot. Know what I mean? If you value the friendship, I would say maybe you could help him redirect his attention.

This is just an opinion, but it's really helped me in my life. It really sucks sometimes, because people (guys) are just shallow. Sometimes they aren't, but mostly they are. Guys are egotistical, and they must always think "if I do this, what will my friends think of me." There's always going to be a time in our lives when we like a guy who doesn't feel the same way about us, no matter what we do, and it's really going to hurt when we see them going off with another girl, or liking someone else. But despite all that... isn't it fun, just to have silly little crushes? To giggle inwardly when you walk past HIM, or when you lock eyes from across the room... it's like you have a little special secret. If we tell a guy we like him, even if we know deep down he doesn't like us, it could ruin the thing we already had going. He knows how you feel now. He may even try to avoid you. You'll ruin the fun little spark you had before, and any chance for a friendship to develop may be ruined. Instead of ruining everything you have going for you now, just don't tell him. There's always this "what if he likes me" thing in our minds, but if you know he doesn't like you, don't scare him by pouring your soul out to him. Besides, and this is totally stereotypical, but guys like to make the first moves anyway. It makes them feel special, or masculine or whatever. Just be who you are, don't think your life will end if he never returns your feelings, and enjoy being single while you can!
