  • Yes, families not getting together for family meals is fast disappearing and a tragedy and generally caused by both parents working (possibly overtime or traveling) although many parents try to sit down with the whole family at least once a week and some families still struggle to at least sit down for dinner every night. Up until the late 1950's Sundays were considered a day of rest where families spent quality time together and sat down for a family meal, but this is fast disappearing because of the modern fast pace of living.

How did Stacey's disappearance break the family circle?

I assume, perhaps improperly you are talking about Anastasia, the (Girl Czarina) of all the Russias. Let us assume the modified l997 plot line is correct. The Empress Marie who retreated to Paris was at least aware of the fact that Stacy (more correct usage) survived the initial upheavals as they left the Winter Palace together with Dimitri, and were separated as I recall at the Train Station. Marie had at least happy suspicions that Anastasia was alive, other members of the family (In Laws, etc) Assumed she was dead and were after the family funds. There were numerous false Anastasia making the rounds of the mqjor capitals in the twenties and the movies have been accurate in this area. Interpol did not exist at the time, so..
