I am a natural redhead that at birth had bright copper hair. In my teens & early adults it was still a dark red and I used lemon juice all the time. I don't think it lightened it up as much as it brought out the natural highlights. Lemon is acid and it probably cut the oil left on the hair after shampooing. Althoght I do know a boy who has really red hair and when he rinses with lemons he becomes very blonde.
I'm not sure but lemon juice does lighten blonde hair.
Between lime and lemon juice, lemon is preferred to lighten your hair.
I know that lemon juice has natural vitamins and things to lighten hair.I'm not really sure how, I've never tried it but I have a friend who does it every summer and it works for her fine...You should google it: lightening hair with lemon juice
Yes,they will!
Lemon juice is known to lighten skin dark spots.
not really ... it may get a little lighter , but not much . maybe a red brown ..
YES!!!!!
Yes It does... I wouldn't recomend leaving it in to long though it could lighten it to much!
Lemon juice won't make your arm pits lighter and if you shave them first it will burn. If you use lemon juice all you will have is a lemony smell.
Cranberry... no... if anything it will stain your hair. Lemon Juice is said to lighten your hair but only in the sun... I've used both lemon juice and "Sun In" which is a product you can buy and both worked... but they dont really make it look natural by any means... you are better off going and getting it professionally done.
dying your hair is never permanent
Well if lemon juice can lighten your hair, then maybe it can lighten your freckles as well. Just a thought.By Melanie
