I was just wondering this myself, needing to make 24 C of popcorn on the stove. I found a good rule of thumb is that each 1 Tablespoon of kernels will give you slightly over 1 cup of popped popcorn.
depends!
The answer to this question varies on the oil one uses. The popcorn lists the calories in uncooked measurements. Usually 1/4 cup uncooked is one serving. Add the information off of the oil or margerine etc. you are popping your corn in. Usually 1 Tablespoon is enough to cook your popcorn. This amount normally is about 100 calories depending on what you are using. If you heat more margerine or butter to pour on top of your popcorn after it is cooked add that amount in as well.
