Not sure when this question was asked ... but a Governor cannot run for a third term of office even though Schwarzenegger's first term was only three years (due to the 2003 recall election).
He could run for Senate, but he has said that he has no plans to run against Barbara Boxer right now. He is a public servant more than a politician. He's concentrating on California right now in this budget crisis and is too busy to think about a senate run, but he has not ruled it out completely.

No. Schwarzenegger served all but 10 months of California Gov. Gray Davis' term after he was recalled in a special election in 2003. Then in 2006, Schwarzengger was re-elected to a full, four-year term. He is unable to run again because of term limits.
I would like to know why you can't run for President of the United States. I understand that you have to be a natural born citizen of the United States to run for the highest office of our land but, Barack Obama was born in Kenya and he is now the reining President of the United States. I think that you would make an excellent President. It is just a thought, but again I say that you would be a favorite of most everyone that I put this question too.
NO. Article II, Section 1, Paragraph 5 of the US Constitution clearly states:"No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States, at the time of the adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President; neither shall any person be eligible to that office who shall not have attained to the age of thirty five years, and been fourteen Years a resident within the United States."Since Schwarzenegger was born in Austria, and wasn't around when the Constitution was adopted (to be grandfathered in), he isn't eligible to run for President.
DON'T DO IT!!! If you do, then it'll be gone forever and you can't fight it again!! I did that with Arceus... I restarted the game just so I could try to get him again.
Romney's parents were American citizens, Schwarzenegger's were not.

In "See Arnold Run" (2005), young Arnold was played by Roland Kickinger and older Arnold was played by Jurgen Prochnow.
Because he should run for president
The people of California have spoken with the power of their vote -he was elected twice, and may not run for a third consecutive term.
No. California's Constitution allows for a governor to serve only two consecutive terms, and Arnold has had his two. However it does allow one to run for governor again after a break, as the current governor - Jerry Brown - has previously served multiple terms in the 1970s. Arnold could thus run again in the 2014 election.
His term ends in 2011. Since he is currently in his second term, he will not be able to run for that office again.
The 61-year-old Republican governor has been asked repeatedly whether he would entertain a position if offered one by the Democratic president-elect, most likely focused on alternative energy or other environmental initiatives. He's been coy in some of his answers, but has said he will remain in office until the end of his term in January 2011. He is not eligible to run again for governor. The feature film "The Last Stand" was released in January of 2013. The film stars Arnold Schwarzenegger and Johnny Knoxville. It is an action-thriller movie involving a drug lord on the run.
As of my last training data in September 2021, there have been no official announcements or indications that Arnold Schwarzenegger is running for president. However, political circumstances change rapidly, and it's best to check reliable news sources for the most up-to-date information.
