Because there are currently four known states of matter, one change between each of these states yields three different types of state change.
One is the change from a solid to a liquid, which we will call "melting." The second is the change from a liquid to a gas, which we call "vaporization." The third is the change from a gas to a plasma.
There are terms for these changes in the reverse direction, and sublimation describes the change from a solid to a gas with no intermediate liquid phase.
A physical change is reversible, and do not change the chemical composition of the sustance. Physical changes are things like phase changes, such as melting, boiling, and freezing. Physical changes can also be physical, as the name would suggest. These changes could be anything from mixing Kool-Aid in water or cutting a potato in two.
Here are Examples.
1) Aluminum foil is cut in half.
2) Clay is molded into a new shape.
3) Butter melts on warm toast.
Three examples of physical change are melting, tearing and boiling.
A change in color shape and size. Examples include coloring on paper, cutting wood and breaking glass.

freezing and melting are physical changes
Examples of chemical changes: * Burning of paper * Rusting of iron Examples of physical reactions: * Melting of ice * Melting of wax
The changes of stat are physical changes because the stat is similar to the physical changes.
The kind of change described is referred to as a physical change. Examples of physical changes include, but are not limited to, changing the temperature or state of a substance, changing the shape of a substance, and breaking a substance into smaller pieces. A change that alters a material's composition would be classified as a chemical change.
CHEMICAL CHANGE: Such change is a permanent change and substances go through such changes not only alter their outer shape but also change their composition. For example: conversion of milk into yoghurt is a chemical change PHYSICAL CHANGE: Such change is a temporary change and substances go through such changes alter their shape and volume only but composition remains same. For example: water changes into ice and ice melt to water is a physical change.
physical examples are examples of thing or changes or transformations which you can see with you eyes or hold with your hands.
Physical changes can range from colour changes to change in tempricture.

Not all physical changes are reversible because most times when such changes occur parts of the substance is lost to the environment.
Being ductile, malleable, freezing, melting are some examples of physical changes of a substance. Physical changes do not form a new substance while chemical changes do. Examples of chemical changes are a rusting nail and combustion.
