∙ 13y agoPolitical Scientists are just like any other scientist, except that they study politics. They use things like official records to trace patterns in what they're studying. They use different types of historical documents as well. They also use secondary sources like scholarly journal articles, survey research, statistical analysis, case studies and model building. Anything that will show them information about politics over the course of a certain amount of time will be a good method for a political scientist to follow.

Civics is a part of political science. The scope of political science is more wider than civics. Civics is the study of citizenship and Political science is the study of states. These two disciplines are closely interconnected. In some countries, Civics is taught as an initials of Political science but in higher stage there is no need to study civics. State without citizen is impossible. so, Civics is the primary or initial study of Political science.
i choose political science as my course so that i know what did the govt. do to our country. Political science is not concerned only with the study of the state and government, rather it is also concerned with all types of political activities such as we can say struggle for power, use of influence, power, authority etc.
An example of Environmental Science would be where scientists study about acid rain or pollution.
