Krypton is a noble gas. Helium, Neon, Argon, Xenon and Krypton are all notoriously reluctant to form compounds and exist as monatomic atoms. Free krypton would not have a charge.

(That, by the way is a standard chemistry groaner: "There's no charge--it's free!"...right up there with "I'm positive I lost my electron.") which makes it the chrage for kprtonite

I found a source (chemicool.com) stating that it was $33 per 100g. However, that's not from a place that actually sells the stuff, so who knows if that price is current or even correct.

None of the manufacturers seem to want to actually tell me online; they want me to request a quote or at least call them.
