The wealthy and noble Egyptians were buried in Mastabas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastaba
I Really Don't Know A mastaba is a type of partially subterranean tomb, similar to modern mausoleums, that was made of stone and exclusively reserved for nobility. Mastabas predate the pyramids by several hundred years, but even after the Pharaohs began to commission pyramids for themselves, royal family and courtiers were still buried in mastabas, often near the pyramid of the pharaoh they were associated with.
Pr-djt is another name for mastaba. It is a flat-roofed Egyptian tomb.
