Zero. Having a period means you've discharged the ova. If you are pregnant this would not happen unless there's a miscarriage. Most women have no periods after they get pregnant. That is why your due date is worked out from your last period.

∙ 9y agoConception would occur around two weeks before menstruation, if pregnancy occurs then this will stop menstruation from occuring. Thus she will miss her next period if she is pregnant, so if you miss a period take a pregnancy test.

∙ 8y agoPregnancy does not "kick in", but you can become pregnant with having sex once if it is within the right time,of your cycle. If you want to know your cycle keep a calendar starting from day 1 of your period to the last day. Next you have to keep a calendar like this for 2-3 months so you can see a pattern. Once the pattern is established count the number of days between periods. Your fertile period will fall between the 12th day to the 16th day. Remember sperm can remain active within the uterus for 3-4 days, so if you ovulate it is likely pregnancy can happen.

Ovulation occurs two weeks before menstruation and it can take up to two weeks for the zygote to implant itself, by the time you are due to menstruate you've likely only been pregnant for a few days. Unless you track your cycles you can't really know how long you've been pregnant.
