There are many ways a pregnancy with an IUD can progress, and each way increases risk to you and the foetus. If you want to continue your pregnancy, seek a second (and maybe third) opinion on whether and how the IUD can be removed.
If you don't get the IUD removed, it'll most likely cause you to miscarry, which can cause bleeding--although the emotional trauma will probably be greater than the physical trauma.
If you don't get the IUD removed and don't miscarry, the pregnancy could push the IUD into your uterine wall. A uterine puncture would put you at risk for pelvic infection and other very dangerous complications. There's also a chance the foetus could develop around the IUD, leading to any number of very unpleasant consequences, including late-term miscarriage and foetal deformation or death.
