If the situation gets to the point of you being offended you can take them to court and pleed that your parent wasent in their right mind, but talk to your parent first and clarify it with them. <P>

<P>Cancer is terrible, and the treatment is even worse. My mum was ridden with it for years, its scary stuff. If you personally think that the medication could alter your gaurdians responses or reactions [getting the friend to be the power of attorney] then they could be taking advantage of your sickened parent. Depending on your age, you can ask advice? There may even be a law against it.
