Yes. It's perfectly normal :-)

It changes to quite thick & White. You're not fertile so not only is your cervix closed but your body is ridding itself of everything to make way for your period.

Only worry if it's itchy or lumpy like cottage cheese

Discharge can be caused by a variety of things- bacterial infection (sexually transmitted or from tampax etc), thrush (caused by sex/ medication/ change of flora in vagina), an STD, or it could be natural cervical mucus- white and sticky is infertile and watery or egg-white and stringy is fertile. Please see your GP or a GYN just in case. If it is an STD such as chlamydia or gonorrhea these can block your tubes or cause pelvic adhesions that can leave you infertile. If you are infertile IVF will be your only option to get pregnant `biologically`.
