"This pill is orange, it is bi-sected, and it is a hydrocodone product, like vicodin. It is 7.5 hydrocodone, 325 acetaminophin. Examples: Regular strength vicodin:5/500. Watson 3203 is 7.5/325, norco is 10/325. Norco and their generic equivalent are usually yellow and look just like the orange ones, but the yellows are stronger. Hope this helps."

Norco is a generic name brand of vicodin (there are many different variations). it's important to realize that one name does not equate a strength of hydrocodone but, more accurately, the strength (amount) of acetaminophin (Tylenol). While it's important to realize that the first number is the strength of hydrocodone, the amount of Tylenol is crucial to monitor. One of the most occurring accidental drug overdoses is from taking too much Tylenol (acetaminophin) which can cause serious liver problems that may, or may not be reversible.

Watson 3203 is one of the Hydrocodone/APAP pills manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals. There is quite a number of them, different in strengths (both Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen), though all of them can be listed as generic Vicodin (or Lortab, or Norco).

This is actually the lowest dosage of vicodin and Tylenol

Vicodin-5mg

Tylenol-325mg

I think they are quick release tablets.

To be exact, Vicodin and Tylenol are brand names. Moreover, they are usually compound medications themselves. E.g., Tylenol can be pure acetaminophen, or acetaminophen combined with codeine, etc.

In Vicodin, acetaminophen is combined with hydrocodone.

Watson 3202 is a generic version for Vicodin manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals. Each pill contains 5mg hydrocodone and 325mg acetaminophen. It really is the weakest possible strength available. To compare, Watson 503 pills contain 10mg hydrocodone and 650mg acetaminophen.

What is an Oblong white pill with Watson 387 printed on side?

That is a 7.5/750mg vicoden. The 7.5 is the amount of hydrocodone (vicoden, a narcotic pain reliever) and the 750 is the amount of acetaminophen aka tylenol that is in it.)

What is a Watson 387 is it a 7.5?

Yes it is 7.5 Watson 387 is a compound medication that consists of 7.5mg Hydrocodone and 750mg of Acetaminophen. The dose of Acetaminophen is rather high, as it is not recommended to take more than 1000mg of APAP at a time, or more than 4000mg during the day. You may compare Hydrocodone/APAP combination in Watson 387 (7.5mg/750mg) to Watson 385 (7.5mg/500mg) and Watson 3203 (7.5mg/325mg).

What is the pill Watson 387 used for?

Number 387 oblong white tablet is made by the generic manufacturer Watson. It is a generic version of Vicodin 5/500, or Lortab 5/500 or many other brand name medications that contain Hydrocodone bitartrate and Acetaminiphen. Hydrocodone is a narcotic pain reliever often used as a substitute for codeine for moderate pain. Acetaminiphen is a non-narcotic analgesic most commonly known by it's brand name Tylenol.Everything is true, with the exception for strength: 7.5mg/750mg. And, to be exact, Tylenol's generic name is Acetaminophen.Pardon the error I was working from memory. The Watson generics are as follows, Imprint code: Watson 357 is 2.5mg Hydrocodone Bitartrate & 500mg APAP (Acetaminophen), I-Code: Watson 387 is 7.5mg Hydro & 750mg APAP(as the correction states), I do not believe Watson makes any other generic Hydro/APAP, but more strengths available from other generic companies are 10/650, 7.5/500, 10/500, and 10/325, 7.5/325, 5/325.And also "to be exact" I had already stated in the last line of my explanation that: "Acetaminiphen is a non-narcotic analgesic most commonly known by it's brand name Tylenol." But thank you for the other correction.

What is Watson 387?

Watson 387 is a generic version for Vicodin. It is mild narcotic pain reliever. Each pill contains a combination of 7.5mg Hydrocodone bitartrate and 750mg Acetaminophen. Hydrocodone is an opioid, and Acetaminophen is a a weaker pain reliever and a fever reducer that increases the effects of Hydrocodone. Beware that Acetaminophen is rather harmful for the liver, and in dosages that exceed 1000mg taken at a time or 4000mg during the day can be dangerous! Remember that other medications can contain Acetaminophen, too (e.g., Darvocet, or Tylenol PM). Be careful not to overdose the total dose of Acetaminophen if you combine Watson 387 (Vicodin) pills with other medications.
