First off. Adderall is an extremely powerful medication! I would consider finding out why you are willing to fake an illness to get ahold of such a drug that can be so dangerous. I know personally that this medication can be so harmful because I take it daily! It's not a med to fake having ADD to get! Doctors don't just give out Adderall to anyone. It's highly guarded by the FDA, you can't even get a refill for it. You have to actually get a written script every month. It's not worth it for you to "fake it" I'm not sure you understand just how serious Adderall is. It's highly addictive. Highly abused, and very lethal if not taken under doctors care and within limits. You need to sit down and seriously consider why your online asking such potentially lethal questions.... Adderall has the power to grip a hold of your life and not let go. NO matter how powerful you THINK you are... I have friends who thought they could be better then the med.. but it doesn't work that way with this one. Well, the majority of the post above is relevant - to the person having posted it; there is something that I would like to address. I agree that, never should anyone FAKE an illness to get a medication prescribed. I receive all my medications from the Veterans Administration since I am a 100% Service Connected Totally & Permanently Disabled American Combat Veteran. I receive "amphetamine salts" (Adderall) with refills. My wife receives the same from her civilian doctor - with refills. This is where I disagree with your post. I know many people that receive it WITH refills, both Veterans and civilians. I agree that it is such a powerful drug that it can consume a person's motivation and become debilitating. However, we all differ in our ability or inability to deal with ANY situation in life - including dependency to certain drugs. While in the U.S. Armed Forces, Naval Special Warfare Group under JSOC; I was given methamphetamine for various operations. This of course was from government contracted drug manufacturing companies - not from street rats cooking it in their trailer houses. I did not become addicted to meth while in service, I don't seek it now that I am out. As for Adderall (amphetamine salts), I often times go weeks without taking ANY. I have had so much stocked up that I began destroying and disposing of it. The very question asked here makes me believe that whomever asked it, would NOT be able to properly use it as prescribed. They may also be after it for its street value. Adderall and Ritalin command anywhere from 2.00 to 20.00 US - for ONE PILL. How do I know? I have been offered as much for my prescriptions. -=====
You really shouldn't be on a prescription for Adderall and Xanax at the same time. It's possible that Adderall could potentiate the effects of the xanax. That means that if you mix them, you normal dose of Xanax could knock you out. It also depends on if you are taking Adderall because you have been diagnosed with ADD. The effects of Adderall are different for people who do not have ADD.
Yes, adderall is a stimulant although for reasons unknown it has a calming effect on people with ADD. So if someone who does not have ADD were to take it, it would serve as a stimulant.
if you are ADD go to the DR and get Adderall
Most simply, they are two different drugs. Concerta is a sustained-release formulation of methylphenidate, and Adderall XR is an extended-release formulation of a mixture of amphetamine salts. It's like the difference between Ritalin and Adderall, which are the immediate-release forms. Both drugs are stimulants, usually prescribed for ADD/ADHD. Methylphenidate is said to not be as strong a stimulant as amphetamine, but is still controlled as tightly.
adderall is an amphetamine which stimulates brain function. however it is unlike its cousin methamphetamine in the sense that its effects are more "controlled".
Adderall is normally used to treat attention deficit disorder and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. A person can be diagnosed with both or with just one of the above. Some psychiatrist may also prescribe it for people diagnosed with depression that is not responding very well to the usual meds of antidepressants.Adderall is known to be abused and is a controlled substance.Adderall is also used to treat narcolepsy. Although it is a drug of abuse, studies have shown that the abuse is not usually among those who take it for ADD or ADHD or Narcolepsy but, instead, among those who take it who do not have these conditions.Adderall is usually used to treat ADD, ADHD, and narcolepsy. It is sometimes also used for weight loss.
My prescription says every 4 hours, during the hours you are awake. Most people I talk to with ADD take it twice a day only. It depends on your specific needs and how your doctor prescribed it. You DO have a prescription, don't you?
Text Free! You just add their number, an they don't know who you are.

No. However, taking both Adderall and Concerta at the same time can be extremely dangerous. Adderall and Concerta are both brand names for stimulants used to treat ADHD/ADD and narcolepsy. Consult with your doctor.
