The advantages of wearing night and day contacts is that one can wear them for longer without them irritating the eye, or needing to routinely clean them throughout the day. They can even be worn throughout the night without harm to the eye, but this should not be a regular practice as the eye will benefit from having time without the lens in order to refresh itself.
Yes. There are contacts that you can wear for 6 months as long as you take care of them, there are also soft contacts that are called daily disposables that you can throw away after wearing them for 1 day.
None particularly. Some people study better at night others during the day.
if you wear a bra in the day its ok but wearing one in the night can mishape your boobs
Because they have a hard time adjusting because if you wear your contacts more than don't and u take them out one day it will be more blurry for about 30mins so it can adjust and it might hurt
It will be pointless to use eye whitener at night whether you have been prescribed for or you bought it over the counter the purpose of it is to make your iris white, so if you use at night and wake up the next day, you'd still need to use it again. Better use a good lubricant so that your eyes don't get strained from drying when using the contacts or rather give the contacts a break if they make your eyes too blood shot that you look as if you are drunk :)
Ask him what the heck he was doing!
Your eyes should not hurt after wearing contacts. In fact you shouldn't even feel discomfort! You need to wear your contacts less and glasses more. Also get some more sleep. Your eyes shouldn't hurt after wearing contacts. The first time when you wear contacts, your optometrist is suppose to give you a trial pair. If there was any discomfort during the follow-up appointment, (the week after you said you wanted contacts) then he/she will be giving you another brand and another until the optometrist ran out of brands to give you to try in his/her office. Then he/she would tell you that you can't wear contacts at all (never happen)
Focus Night and Day allow you to sleep in your contacts for up to 1 month. They have the highest oxygen level, but they are a bit on the expensive side.
you should probably keep them in for about a day or two
Day or Night
It can get your eyes dried out for a while. Doing it once or twice is okay , but try not to . You can but you shouldn't. To stay healthy your eyes need access to fresh air. Contact lenses are designed to let air through but they should be removed daily to give your eyes a chance to rest. When your eyes are shut and you have contacts on, you get less air to your eyes. If you accidentally fall asleep wearing contacts, and everybody does, remove them when you wake up, clean them, and then let your eyes rest for a few hours before wearing them again. I suppose that if you were an emergency worker who had to wake up and be able to see instantly, you could put your contacts in just before sleeping. In this case you should be careful to limit the total number of hours that you wear contacts in any day. If you always sleep with your lenses in you are more at risk of developing a bacterial eye infection. See the link for more information about eye health and contact lenses.
