A benzodiazepine appears on a drug test if an individual has taken up benzodiazepine. Typically for a urine test or urinalysis the benzodiazepine at category is labeled BZD. If you are asking about the timing of benzodiazepines, that is actually dependent on which benzodiazepine has been taken. Valium/diazepam can be detected for up to several months because it has such a long half-life and if taken multiple times can accumulate in the liver. If you benzodiazepine such as triazolam has been taken then you been up to eight hours later it cannot be detected.

Benzodiazepines with longer half-life's tend to accumulate, thereby increasing the rate of how long this stick around in the potty for example Ativan or lorazepam has a shorter half-life and Klonopin/clonazepam.

They show up as benzodiazepines, if they run a benzo test. Benzos don't cross-react with anything else, so if you're not specifically tested for them they won't show up.

If this question is from someone considering a career as a truck driver...benzo use is disqualifying until the drug has completely cleared itself from your system.
