Will oxycodone and morphine show up the same in a urine test?

Honestly, Yes & NO

Oxycodone usually does not come up positive for morphine on a drug test because they have different chemical structures...They are almost identical, so it really depends on the amount that was ingested...A faint line may appear for morphine meaning that the urine is skeptical, but nowdays urine is being sent to labs to confirm a specific drug or drug metabolite...Example : Oxycodone metabolizes in the body as Oxymorphone,, meaning if a GC/MS (Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry) test is called upon, science can detect if a person has used oxycodone...But nowadays they have a sepcific dipstick/cup test for oxycodone , so i wouldn't suggest to continue using oxycodone if you are not prescribed, especially if you have legal problems where you are being drug tested.

Yes, Oxycontin and morphine will show up the same because both are in the opiate class of medications.

Actually they are different, Oxycontin is oxycodone. And on a standard employment drug test oxycodone is not tested for. They do test for morphine, which heroin and codein break down to. Oxycodone does not come up as morphine on a standard test. Now you can test for oxycodone, and you can test for them both on the same drug test. But they come up as too totally different opiates. But their is a catch to this. In some cases taking high amounts of oxycodone can give a false positive on a standard test and that is true.

Yes i had a drug test for work and they said i had morphine in my system so i sent then a copy of my script for percocets and they said i was good! hydrocondone shows up as a different opiate

Yes and no all depending on the type of test as we have read over and over again can we get a direct answer for crying out loud but apparently if u take a drug test for a job or something minor ur cool if ur dropping for a doc or what not guess ur pretty screwed

yes, individually. Oxycontin, or anything containing it (ie percocet, roxicet) will show up on test as Oxycontin. Morphine will come up for Opiates.

They will both show as an opiate. They wouldn't be able to tell what type of opiate you took. Could be anything from poppy seeds to vicodin or morphine or even heroin.
